Primary Mathematics – 1:1 Personalised Learning helps young learners build secure mathematical foundations, develop problem-solving skills and grow in confidence through individual online lessons tailored to their current level, needs and learning goals.
Lessons develop understanding across key areas of primary mathematics, including number, arithmetic, fractions, decimals, measurement, geometry, data and problem-solving. Rather than simply practising calculations, learners are encouraged to understand mathematical ideas, recognise patterns, explain their thinking and apply what they know in different situations.
Because lessons are taught 1:1, teaching can be adapted to address gaps in understanding, reinforce school learning or provide additional challenge for learners who are ready to progress further.
Lessons are delivered live online, 1:1 with an experienced teacher, providing opportunities for clear explanation, guided practice, questioning, feedback and regular review.
There is no fixed starting point. Teaching is adapted to the learner's age, existing knowledge and educational context, making the course suitable both for learners who need additional support and those who would benefit from greater challenge.
Where appropriate, lessons can also complement the learner's school curriculum while focusing on the areas in which they would benefit most from individual attention.
