IGCSE Mathematics – 1:1 Personalised Learning provides focused, individual support to help learners strengthen mathematical understanding, develop effective problem-solving strategies and prepare confidently for their IGCSE Mathematics examinations.
Lessons are tailored to the learner’s current level, exam specification, strengths and areas for development. Teaching can be used to consolidate classroom learning, address gaps in understanding, revisit challenging topics or provide structured preparation as examinations approach.
Learners may work across key areas including number, algebra, functions and graphs, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability and mathematical reasoning. Alongside subject knowledge, lessons develop the ability to interpret questions, select appropriate methods, show clear mathematical working and apply knowledge accurately under examination conditions.
Lessons are delivered live online, 1:1 with an experienced teacher, allowing teaching to focus closely on the areas where each learner needs the greatest support or challenge. Concepts can be explained carefully, misconceptions addressed as they arise and progress reviewed throughout the course.
Where appropriate, lessons can incorporate exam-style questions, past-paper practice and targeted revision, helping learners become familiar with the demands of their examination while continuing to build genuine mathematical understanding.
Teaching can be adapted to the learner’s specific IGCSE or International GCSE specification, where appropriate, rather than following a single fixed programme for every learner.
